Imagine

  • Food becoming a source of pleasure, rather than creating anxiety

  • Never dieting again

  • Never again valuing yourself by a number on the scale

  • Setting boundaries verbally, instead of with your body weight

  • Understanding the difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger

  • You… determining what is “good” or “bad” for you instead of society and the media

Insurance Reimbursement

Payment will be collected at the time of service and you will be provided with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Our practice does not participate in any health insurance or managed care company plans, including Medicare. We do accept FSA and HSA cards.

We suggest that you contact your insurance company to find out what your deductible and co-payment are for “out-of-network nutrition therapy services for a dietitian.” Often, insurers will pay a certain percentage of what is “reasonable and customary” after you meet your deductible. It may be helpful for you to ask what the term “reasonable and customary” means as it relates to a 97802 code initial evaluation and 97803 for a follow-up consultation. This will help you understand how much your insurance company will ultimately reimburse you and what your out-of-pocket expense will be before you begin treatment.
